| When
should I call in a FengShui Consultant?
As
soon as possible!
If you are buying a plot of land to build a house/office/business,
then call in the consultant to check the land and advise on any
changes needed to the landform, what style of architecture to
use and which direction the main door should face. This way you
will start with the best opportunity to harness the beneficial
chi.
I've
just built a house - what if the Feng Shui is all wrong? I don't
want to knock it down and build it all again.
Your
consultant will assess your house and prescribe elemental cures
just as one would with any other property - though it would have
been better to bring in the consultant to give advice at the design
stage.
I'm keen on finding out
about and improving the Feng Shui of my house - but I don't like
fussy ornaments and wind chimes - I prefer a minimalist interior.
Can I still make changes?
Yes, traditional Feng Shui uses subtle symbolism
of the elements and 'cures' can be effected by colour, shape or
material. No one would see that your house had been 'feng shui-ed'!
Sometimes, realignment of doors, building of porches
and other minor building works may be advised, but your consultant
will always tend toward the most easily attained changes.
Will
my house be perfect after following the advice of a Feng Shui
consultant?
No, nothing is perfect, but
it will be better than before. There are situations in which the
consultant cannot suggest change for the better without going
to great upheaval and expense. In this sort of situation you would
be advised to effect certain changes in order to build up your
strength (of chi) to sell the house and move to a better place.
If
I sell my house after such circumstances won't the next person
be badly affected?
The next person who
buys your house may be moving from an even worse situation. In
that respect he is improving his lot, ready to move on again after
gathering strength himself. You have to move up the ladder of
good chi in small steps, you cannot take great leaps without potential
problems - note the experiences of many lottery winners!
Alternatively, he may be able
to cope with a difficult situation - exposed and windy hill tops
are where Kings built their castles!
